NYE in SB

Happy 2012!  I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year’s Eve weekend.  My weekend in the central coast was perfectly relaxing in the most beautiful setting.  It was exactly what the doctor ordered and the greatest way to ring in the new year.

{We stayed at an adorable bed & breakfast, The Secret Garden Inn and Cottages, located in the heart of Santa Barbara.  The stairs on the left led to our own private cottage.}

{The famous McConnell’s ice cream was right around the corner.  We couldn’t resist.}

{Their Turkish Coffee is delish}

{Toasting to the new year & to new friends at the first winery of the day, Bridlewood Estate Winery}

{Olive oil & balsamic vinegar tasting at Global Gardens in Los Olivos.  We’re messy, what can I say.}

{Another winery… Shoestring Estates Winery}

{That tree has bushels of mistletoe hanging from it, although you can’t really tell from the picture}

We finished the day with an amazing dinner at Wine Cask in downtown Santa Barbara and were in bed in time to watch the ball drop.  It was truly the perfect way to spend New Year’s Eve.  After such a relaxing weekend I am ready to take on this new year and get some of my resolutions in motion.  Bring it, twenty twelve.
